This type of grit surface cuts faster than traditional grinding wheels because it allows you to remove more material per revolution.
The Norton Champ Flap Disc is a flexible abrasive disc used for removing paint, rust, mill scale and other surface contaminants from metal surfaces. They are used with a portable angle grinder fitted with an appropriate backing pad.
The Norton Champ Flap Disc is made from aluminium oxide grain embedded in a flexible rubber matrix bonded to a thin steel backing plate. This design gives the Norton Champ Flap Disc good flexibility and abrasion resistance
